Brief Ayo Oluranti Biography [Messiah BabaMi Music sheet Composer]
Ayo Oluranti was featured in the music scenes in the USA, UK, and Nigeria in the last ’30s. As a well-known Music Scholar, Organist, Conductor, and Theorist. He has composed many beautiful musics in English and Yoruba.
Some of his works are O come and Sing (SATB 2003), Ose O Jesu (SATB 1993), E Je ka polongo (1991), and many more. The Music Messiah BabaMi is a piece of favorite choral music in Nigeria. with the same Dodimu Music sheet by Yemi Akinpelu.
His compositions have been performed in many countries such as North America, South America, Nigeria, Europe, and Asia. Oluranti successfully directed and designed both the Pentecostal church music program and liturgical.
He’s formerly a composer in House at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Pittsburgh. He was also at the Pittsburgh Orchestra Festival.
Ayo has been a member of Bafrik and also a founding member of Alia Musica Pittsburgh. He was formally a lecturer and teacher at the Tshwane University of Technology Pretoria in South Africa.
